Green Goddess Wraps

Looking for a mouthwatering, refreshing, and easy lunch? These green goddess wraps are sure to set your taste buds spinning. With a subtle crunch from the fresh spinach and thinly sliced cucumbers to the creamy spiced avocado mash, this wrap will no doubt become a favorite go-to for you. These wraps are packed with punches of flavor and overflowing with vitamins and nutrients.

Ingredients

  • Wraps
  • Spinach, Kale, or Lettuce
  • Fresh Sprouts
  • Avocados
  • Fermented Garlic
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Red Onions
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Olive Oil

1. To start your wraps off you will need to choose what kind of wrap you prefer. For example, I chose a tomato basil wrap, you, however, may want a spinach wrap, a lettuce wrap, or a good old fashion tortilla.

2.  I can't give you exact measurements for this recipe because everyone is going to have different preferences. I like lots of onion and lots of garlic, but you may not. To start the wrap I spread avocado on half of the tortilla and sprinkled it with cumin, paprika, salt and pepper, olive oil.

3.  For the next step, I thinly chopped the red onion, sprouts, and garlic and sprinkled those over the avocados. After sprinkling those over, I added a handful of spinach and some kale and then wrapped it burrito style.

4. All of these ingredients are just my personal preference. I would recommend adding different dressings, veggies, and spices. Customize these wraps to your liking!

Mac and Cheese Mushroom Stroganoff

This delicious creamy mushroom filled stroganoff is very similar to a beef stroganoff. One of the key reasons this will taste like a beef stroganoff is because mushrooms have a savory flavor, associated with meats, called umami. When looking to replace beef or any meat in a meal I would highly recommend trying mushrooms, this umami flavor is considered the fifth flavor and is known for its similar taste to meat. Mushrooms are also a very high and natural source for Potassium. By increasing your mushroom intake you will notice a decrease in symptoms of obesity, diabetes, and heart diseases, It also reduces your risk for cancer as it is high in Anti-oxidants, Selenium, and Vitamin D. For this meal you will need the following ingredients... Ingredients  3 cups of uncooked elbow macaroni or small shells 4-5T of lentils  2T of  Nutritional   yeast.  A dash of salt and pepper 1t of cumin  1t of ground mustard 1t of turmeric (for color)  4 c...
